Barber Coleman / Wheelco Instruments Remote Pyrometer - PRICE REDUCTION

Description

Here is a Rare WORKING Pyrometer with a remote (approx. 4 foot) pickup unit.
The unit was manufactured by the Wheelco Division of Barber Coleman.
It is held in a original high quality varnished wood box that measures 10" x 23 1/2" x 5 1/2" high.
The temperature range is 0 - 600 deg. F.
I have not attempted to calibrate it but it reads correctly at room temperature and when held in front of a small torch it jumped to 300 deg.
The box is finished very nicely on the outside and has dull finish on the inside.  The box is also well made and very tight with no cracks or loose joints.
This is a fine example of American Manufacturing from the 1940s - 1950s and a true Collector's Item.
