How to use Hangesa?
Buddhism monk wear uniform "Kesa" (Kesa is usually using Nishijin). This cloth is called Hangesa (Simplified Kesa). Hangesa is simplified wear for monk and pilgrims, Buddhism follower and believer.

Shingon Buddhism
was established by Chinese monk, Hui-Kuo. Japanese monk, Kukai (Kobo Daishi) was nominated as successor. So, orthodox Shingon Buddhism is in Japan. Shingon Buddhism is Vajrayana (Tantrayana).
The hallmark of Shingon is having each two tassels at two tassels areas (total four tassels).

Jodo School
was established by Hounen. Amida Sutra says Amida Nyorai (Amitabha) can save all lives, and he can take everyone to Gokuraku Jodo. That's why he emphasized we must be thankful to Amida's favor. "Namu Amidabutsu" means "become a believer of Amida". He recommend to repeat this word. Because it's easy practice. Hounen was restorer of Japanese Buddhism. He changed Buddhism from ruler class into common people's.
The hallmark of Jodo school's is crossed two circles. And one is a normal circle. Another have two tassels and metal ring.
This emblem is Jodo school's.
And they are using Mitsu-aoi crest, too. This family crest is Tokugawa Shogunate's

Jodo Shinshu
was established by Shinran. Shinran was a pupil of Hounen and the founder of what ultimately became the Jodo Shinshu school in 12th century. This school is an idea which is developed Jodo Buddhism. The hallmark of his idea is “Akunin Shoki”. Jodo Shinshu Honganji temple was divided into two branches (East and West) by Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu in 17th century. But doctrine is the same. Nowadays, Jodo Shinshu is the largest Buddhism branch in Japan.

This emblem is Higashi-Hongwanji's. It stands for peony flower
