In Japan, it is regularly used for instance like strolls, enjoy the evening breeze when it is hot, and naturally, as a loungewear. It is also the perfect choice for an out on the beach or poolside.
Item Details
JINBEI is a traditional Japanese casual wear specially designed for hot weather. It stands the test of time and is long-loved by Japanese people of all ages.
75% cotton, 25% hemp linen
Combining the breathable hemp fabric with the softness of cotton you have the best of both worlds.
Weaving method applied is called (YO RYU). Fabrics made this way have a unique characteristic, as they are made with twisted yarn. This twisted yarn gives the fabric a bouncy or springy quality and a vertical crinkled texture.
The uneven surface makes less contact with the skin, increasing airflow and keeping you cool.
When stretched, the fabric is wider than it looks if you flatten it out.
Hemp textiles tend to dry quickly.
Slub yarn(thicker sections along the yarn) Is woven into the warp.
Moreover, white slub yarn is woven into the woof for the black fabric, and black slub yarn was used for the white fabric.
This slub yarn gives the garment a unique texture and more personality.
Garments tend to shrink mildly when washed. Please avoid using the hot air dryer function on the washing machine.
Short sleeves shirt and short pants.
Front and back pieces, sleeves and torso of the jacket are connected by thread netting as shown in the picture for better breathability.
Jacket tighten with strips, one on the inside and one on the outside. Pliable for wide range of body types.
Jacket has one pocket.
Shorts have rubber band and are tighten with strings. Flexible for broad range of waist sizes.
Both models are wearing the same L size JINBEI in this picture.
The model on the left is 5’7 and the model on the right is 5’9.
Our products are dyed at a dyeing factory that does not use any azo dyes which are said to have carcinogenicity.
