Vintage Heathkit IM-28 VTVM Vacuum Tube Voltmeter. Recapped. This is one I almost completed lol. As you can see it's been completely recapped. It has a new battery. The cord is an original 3 wire which is a bit brittle and has the ground prong removed. The ground wire is connected inside the instrument. This was obviously done for isolation when using on hot chassis equipment. I was going to replace the cord but alas time ran out lol. It comes with the original manual. It also come with a decent probe of which I replaced the Shielded cable for some RG174. It has a functional AC/Ohms DC switch with a 1 megohm resistor installed, I also added a common wire with alligator clip(not shown). As far as I can tell the 4 items that I never finished were the power cord, check resistors, clean switches and calibration.  These are highly sought after bench meters and as you can see it has the original mounting bracket on it. I'm trying to describe everything I know about the unit so there are no misconceptions about it for the buyer. I ship very fast via USPS or UPS depending on the item.
