    Description

    Here is an original US theatrical lobby card set for the American International Pictures release of Guissepe Verre's merging of peplum and fantasy known domestically as War of the Zombies (1965). Similar in format to Mario Bava's surreal Hercules in the Haunted World (1961),  this film has a journey to a distant land where our hero finds the wizard Aderbal who worships a cyclopian goddess and, in a scene worthy of Bava's Hercules entry, revives the massacred Roman legion from the dead.
    Colorful lobby card set gives an idea of the quirkiness of this colorfully photographed Peplum and has Reynold Brown's detailed poster art in the border.
